As an employer, we know how important employee safety is for companies. Phoenix provides a workplace injury prevention program where our Physical and Occupational Therapists provide employers and employees with opportunities to learn workplace injury prevention techniques specific to job tasks.
These injury prevention in-services include instruction in proper posture and positions for still workstations, proper lifting techniques, hand and wrist injury prevention and care, supervisor training and workstation exercises.
We emphasize teaching employees what he or she must do to prevent injury, as opposed to what the employer must do. We believe that this fosters an active role by employees regarding their safety and injury prevention.
When possible, this service is customized to specific job descriptions and workstations as directed by the employer.
