Spencer Heflin, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Heflin has a passion for helping people of all backgrounds and skill levels return to doing what they love. His path to physical therapy started back when he used to coach children with disabilities before moving on to become a certified EMT and personal trainer. He has a specific interest in manual therapy and was Vice President of the GWU Manual Therapy club while attending DPT school there. He enjoys working with athletes, weekend warriors, surgical post op patients, or people looking to improve balance and overall fitness. Since graduating he has taken additional coursework and received certifications in the McKenzie techniques for treating low back and neck pain. He is currently working towards attaining his dry needling certification. Outside of the clinic you can find him spending time with his friends and family, traveling, scuba diving, hiking, at a dog beach or golfing.
