Robert Hyon, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
I believe that effective physical therapy is a balance between the art of patient-centered care and the science of evidence-based practice. My personal philosophy for rehab is to implement a holistic approach that combines my knowledge of the human movement system with a patient’s personal goals. As Physical Therapists, we have a responsibility to coach our patients through their rehab journey and help them reach their destination whether it’s returning to their sport/hobby or being pain free with daily activities.
Rob joined the Phoenix Physical Therapy in January of 2024 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh Doctor of Physical Therapy program in December of 2023. He finished a 4-month clinical rotation at the Royersford office under the guidance and instruction of Becky Sheaffer, DPT, the current facility director. Rob has clinical experience working in orthopedics and with patients who exhibit neurological and vestibular conditions. He is local to the Royersford – Schwenksville area and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing. Rob is also a big foodie and is always welcome to new restaurant recommendations in the greater Philly area.
