Feather Wright, PT, DPT

Feather, a native Texan, began her professional career as a physical therapist after a 22-year career in the U.S. Army. During her time in the service, she experienced first-hand how integral physical therapy can be to not only acute injury recovery but also maintaining herself as a military athlete, physically and mentally. Following her retirement, her family relocated to Virginia where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Viginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 2025. She began practicing at Centra Rehabilitation in Farmville, Virginia treating a variety rural, post-op, and Longwood athlete patients focusing on acute injuries and chronic pain. Feather joined Phoenix Physical Therapy in January 2026. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and watching them flourish on their journey to recovery. Feather is passionate about helping athletes return to sport and “everyday athletes” return to what they enjoy whether it be hunting, gardening, or snowboarding. She and her family currently live in Powhatan, Virginia. Feather enjoys hiking, traveling, running, and working out.
