Austin Muetterties, PT, DPT
Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Austin earned his undergraduate degree from James Madison University in 2014 and went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 2018. Since then, he has worked in outpatient physical therapy, applying evidence-based practice tailored to each patient’s values, goals, and specific needs.
In August 2025, Austin took on a new leadership role as Co-Director at Phoenix Physical Therapy, where he continues to prioritize patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Driven by a passion for education and recovery, Austin takes pride in helping patients, especially those recovering from surgery, understand their rehabilitation process and regain confidence in their movement and daily activities. He believes that empowering patients with knowledge about their conditions is key to long-term success and improved overall health.
Outside the clinic, Austin enjoys running and biking, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their cat, Hercules.
