Richelle Woelkers, PTA

Physical Therapy Assistant

“I strive to provide patients with the highest quality of care while reducing limitations and improving quality of life. I understand that every patient is different and unique, so I like to utilize a hands on approach with an emphasis on providing individualized treatment programs and education regarding their treatment. I try to create an upbeat, caring environment in which patients can work to achieve their goals and return to their previous lifestyle.”  

Richelle joined the Phoenix team as a per diem Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2021 for the Harleysville and Horsham offices and has since worked into a full-time position in the Horsham, PA for 3.5 years and transferred to Harleysville full time in September of 2024. She has interests in sports medicine and orthopedics which comes from her time as an athlete at the collegiate level and as a high school coach for basketball and softball. Richelle also enjoys working with the geriatric population after growing up with many grandparents and great grandparents in her life as well as her time spent working as a PTA in Home Health. She utilizes hands on techniques and strives to educate her patients on the benefits of Physical Therapy.  

Richelle is originally from Maine and loves to return home as often as possible to visit family and enjoy all that the state has to offer. She is married and has 2 cats to entertain her daily. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, cooking, and gardening, as well as playing board games and card games with her husband and family.
