Michael Getz, PT, MSPT
Clinic Director / Physical Therapist
“I am committed to providing my patients with quality care and personalized, one-on-one treatment. I believe strongly in patient education so patients will understand their treatment plan. I believe that treatment plans need to be designed to fit the individual needs of the patient in order to achieve the goals set by both the patient and the therapist.”
Michael joined the Phoenix Physical Therapy and Health Services’ team in November 2007 as a staff physical therapist at the Bloomsburg outpatient facility. In January 2015, Mike was promoted to facility director and lead physical therapist. As director, he is responsible for the handling of all the day-to-day operations while overseeing the highest quality of care.
He brings greater than 10 years of outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine experience to the region. His expertise lies with post-operative, geriatric, work-injured, sport-injured, work hardening and chronic pain patients.
Currently, Michael resides in Bloomsburg with his wife Mary and his sons Matthew, Christopher and Danny.
