Melissa Wilkins, PT, MPT

Physical Therapist

“I am committed to clinical excellence by providing the highest quality care and patient education. I believe by utilizing the most effective means, “hands-on” care, and state-of-the-art equipment, the patient can reach their optimal level. Proper education and treatment serve as tools to heal, as well as to instruct these patients in prevention and maintenance, and are essential in physical therapy intervention.”

Melissa joined the Phoenix team as a physical therapist in 2005 in Mt. Pleasant and has taken roles throughout the company traveling, as well as opening the Latrobe office. She returned home to the Mt. Pleasant office in 2014. Melissa values incorporating movement with all of her patients in order to improve function at home. Melissa’s specialty is working with and treating orthopedic and neurologic patients such as joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction, stroke, vestibular, and Parkinsons. Melissa enjoys treating a variety of patients in all age ranges.

Melissa resides in Mt. Pleasant with her husband Jeremy and children Chloe and Ethan. She loves playing golf with her husband and children, traveling, and cooking. Melissa enjoys watching sports, especially local youth sports, and is active in her church.
