Melissa Wilkins, PT, MPT

Physical Therapist

“I am committed to clinical excellence by providing the highest quality care and patient education. I believe by utilizing the most effective means, “hands-on” care, and state-of-the-art equipment, the patient can reach their optimal level. Proper education and treatment serve as tools to heal, as well as to instruct these patients in prevention and maintenance, and are essential in physical therapy intervention.”

Melissa joined the Phoenix Physical Therapy and Health Services, Inc. team in 2001 while in PT school as an aide.  In 2005 she began her work as a physical therapist at the Mt. Pleasant office.  Over the last 10 years, she has worked as regional coverage, and as director of the Latrobe office.  In 2015, she returned home to Mt. Pleasant and is working as staff physical therapist.  She resides in Mt. Pleasant with her husband, Jeremy and two children, Chloe and Ethan.  Outside of the office, Melissa is an active member of her church and enjoys outdoor activities, sports, and traveling.
