Jennifer Welsman, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Jen believes that effective physical therapy begins with truly understanding each individual. Her treatment philosophy is centered on personalized care, recognizing that no two patients, bodies, or recovery journeys are the same. She takes time to listen, assess, and collaborate with patients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and daily demands.

Jen integrates skilled manual therapy with evidence-based movement and exercise to restore mobility, reduce pain, and support optimal function. She emphasizes meaningful, functional outcomes—helping patients return to the activities that matter most in their lives, whether that’s work, sport, or everyday movement.

Compassion is at the core of her practice. Jen creates a supportive, respectful environment where patients feel heard, empowered, and confident throughout their rehabilitation process. Her goal is not only recovery, but long-term resilience, independence, and quality of life.

Jen Welsman is a licensed physical therapist with over 15 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic care, with specialized expertise in limb loss and oncology rehabilitation. She works closely with individuals navigating complex diagnoses, helping them regain strength, mobility, and confidence throughout every stage of recovery. Jen is known for her patient-centered, evidence-based approach and her ability to tailor treatment plans to each person’s goals, challenges, and lifestyle. She also enjoys mentoring and working with physical therapy students from various universities, valuing the opportunity to support professional growth and the future of the field.

Outside of the clinic, Jen values balance and connection. She enjoys practicing yoga, spending time with her children and family, and being outdoors with her dog—interests that reflect her belief in whole-person health and sustainable movement.
