Ellen Parr, PT, DPT
Ellen’s goal as a physical therapist is to instill trust in her patients from day one. Ellen shares her knowledge and provides as much information as possible to her patients to promote confidence that she will be able help improve their overall functioning and quality of life.
Ellen has been practicing physical therapy since 2013 in the outpatient setting, and is certified in trigger point dry needling by Myopain since 2016. She has had great success with this treatment in regards to patient’s pain levels, strength, and quality of movement. Ellen enjoys treating and working with patients with varying diagnoses and impairments. Ellen brings a high level of energy and personality to her clinic daily for patients to know that she cares about their progress and will provide the appropriate treatment to achieve their goals.
Ellen grew up playing competitive soccer in Columbia, MD and continued to play through her post graduate years. She has always been a team player, and she believes that plays a role in how she treats her patients. Ellen always supports her patients their treatment plans and is willing to assist them with problem solving strategies and techniques to get them back to feeling their best. Ellen also tries to brainstorm what activities are most beneficial for them during the day or what changes need to be made in order to improve healing or to prevent further injury.
