Daniel McGowan, PT, DPT
Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Dan is the Clinic Director at Horizon and has been part of the Horizon team since the spring of 2017, when he joined as a Physical Therapist. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, majoring in Exercise and Sport Science, before completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dan has pursued extensive continuing education across multiple specialties within physical therapy. His training includes completing a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), dry needling, and the clinical management of both fitness athletes and older adults, among other areas. He treats a diverse patient population, including individuals with sports-related injuries, running injuries, general orthopedic conditions, vestibular disorders, TMJD, and male pelvic health concerns.
Outside of the clinic, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing basketball, staying active, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
