Mindy Blitzer, MSPT

Physical Therapist

Mindy Blitzer, MSPT, was introduced to the world of Physical Therapy as a teenager after a knee injury as a sophomore in high school. After four months of rehab for an ACL tear, she was able to return to successful softball and volleyball high school seasons. She then went to Cornell University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Science with a minor in Exercise Science. After college, she took a year off to volunteer and gain
experience in the PT field. She was then accepted at the University of Miami to pursue her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Mindy has now been practicing Physical Therapy for 28 years with a variety of experiences, from hospital inpatient to Orthopedic Outpatient and Sports Medicine. Her first love is orthopedics, with a special interest in post operative shoulder and knee rehab. As a three-time knee surgical patient herself, she can fully empathize with this special population of patients.

Mindy has been working in the Charlotte metro region for her entire career, and has developed excellent relationships with many of the top Orthopedic Physicians in the area. She has also volunteered at the South Mecklenburg and Fort Mill High schools assisting the athletic training staff and helping athletes return to the field of play.
As she has gotten “older,” Mindy has really enjoyed working with the “older” population and loves to assist her total joint patients return to all the activities they love.

Mindy has been a part of the Phoenix Team in the Fort Mill Clinic for two years and is excited to continue her PT Journey. Mindy has special interests in Dry Needling,
cupping, kinescoping, manual therapy, and Functional Capacity Evaluations.
When not in the clinic, Mindy weight trains regularly, is an avid golfer, loves to read, enjoys thebeach, and fun times with friends and family.
