Sarah Cowan, PT, DPT, FDNS

Sarah Cowan, PT, DPT is a dedicated physical therapist with a special focus on the outpatient orthopedic population. Sarah was a collegiate athlete before going on to graduate school and earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Samford University. Sarah holds patient care of the utmost importance. She is passionate about helping people recover from injury and getting them back to their prior level of function, utilizing a wide range of manual techniques as well as functional dry needling. She focuses on individualizing treatment plans for each patient for their overall health and wellness, pushing for the best quality of life. Sarah lives in the Pike Road community with her husband (Holton) and daughter (Lily).

Education: Sarah earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science from North Greenville University where she played collegiate softball for four years. She then went on to attend Samford University for graduate school where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree.
