Maryann Tadros , PT, DPT, CLT/LANA

Physical Therapist, Director of Lymphedema Services

Maryann Joined the Phoenix Physical Therapy Team in 2021 and is the Director of Lymphedema Services. She is a Lymphology Association of North America certified Lymphedema Therapist and her expertise lies in treatment for both upper and lower extremity lymphedema. Having lymphedema affects many aspects of an individual’s life and has psychosocial implications. Maryann is passionate about providing one-on-one patient care to empower the patient to achieve their goals, reduce the psychosocial burden of the condition, reduce the patient’s swelling and improve their mobility.

In addition to being a lymphedema specialist, Maryann
is also a certified Vestibular therapist. Maryann’s skillset includes canalith repositioning maneuvers, vestibular rehabilitation, gait and balance training, and fall prevention training in older adults. Having vestibular episodes and feeling dizzy can be disorienting and scary for many patients, and limits their ability to engage in daily activities. Delivering impairment-based skilled care allows Maryann to reduce the burden of vestibular dysfunction on patients, which ultimately improves their quality of life.

Furthermore, Maryann has a strong skill set in manual
therapy techniques including myofascial manipulation
and soft tissue mobilization. Maryann has a passion for
running and is an outdoor enthusiast. Her in-depth
knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics gives her a
unique perspective when conducting running gait
analysis. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time
with her loved ones, serving her church community and spoiling her dog.
