Joey Bikkers, PT, DPT
Clinic Director / Physical Therapist
It’s critical to understand the context of why someone is seeking care for their health. Getting to know people on day one and really seeking to understand how their life is being impacted by whatever they’re experiencing – whether neck pain or knee pain or anything along the way – is all too important.
Joey is a graduate of Shenandoah University (B.S. ’13, DPT ’16) and has lived and worked in the Hampton Roads since 2016. He has completed post-professional specialty programs and is recognized as a certified manual therapist and dry needling therapist. He currently is completing an orthopedic physical therapy fellowship through Bellin College-Evidence in Motion. Joey has significant experience in working with common painful orthopedic conditions, athletic rehabilitation, and post-operative rehabilitation. His goal always is to interact with the person at hand to understand how their life is being impacted and how to get them back to their normal life.
