Her philosophy is “fix it in flight” and she believes in keeping her patients as active as possible while they are rehabilitating. Britta believes it is a partnership between the therapist and patients, as she guides her patients through their rehabilitation, helping returning them to active lifestyles.
Britta graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2006. She has extensive experience in outpatient care treating different types of patients utilizing manual skills, trigger point dry needling and functional retraining to help her patients return to active and healthy lives and their favorite activities.
Britta enjoys treating a variety of patients including orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, runners as well as vestibular (BPPV) and balance deficits.
Britta is also an avid runner and triathlete. She uses her professional and personal experience to work with local coaches and runners in their rehabilitation to help improve their performance. In her free time, Britta also enjoys sailing (racing and leisure), hiking, downhill skiing and spending time with her son and her two dogs.
